There were many heroes in Georgia’s national championship victory over Alabama, and one of them was defensive back Kelee Ringo. His pick six ended any hope Alabama had of tying the game and forcing overtime, and Ringo is now trying to make some money off that moment.

With just under a minute remaining in the game, the Crimson Tide were down by eight and driving to tie the game. Instead, Ringo came up with a clutch pick six to deliver a national title to the Bulldogs.

With new NIL policies in place, Ringo can now take advantage of his efforts financially. The Georgia defensive back is now selling apparel with the image of his game-winning interception and the phrase, “Sealed the Deal.”

In Kirby Smart’s postgame interview on the field, he was asked about that pick by Ringo. Smart was proud of how Ringo has grown throughout the season and was happy to see him make such a clutch play.

Kelee Ringo has run the gamut this year. The kid has gotten so much better. I love the kid, love his family. What a big play in the big moment. How about this university? How about these fans. This is a special moment for the University of Georgia. Special moment for this team.”
